Feature wish: numbering on building vocabulary list

CleverClogs   July 2nd, 2013 12:50p.m.

I'd like to propose a new feature:

The rows in the vocabulary entry screen of the edit section form should be numbered. This allows a user to easily compare the Skritter vocabulary list to the original publication. It facilitates discovering entries that were accidentally skipped.

Thoughts?

I think this is a fantastic idea, particularly because it's one I've had before. :)

I recently built up a very large list divided into sections of 25 characters each, and I would have very much appreciated some way of knowing that I had reached 25 characters when I was making a new section. I kept having to manually count them.

I think this is a pretty awesome idea. I'll be sure to bring it up at the next meeting.

ok but I guess you would end up with a numbering system like 12/2. isnt it?

since we have lots of wordlists in the textbook for instance you wouldnt just give numbers from 1 to x but you would also have to number the actual wordlist or pagenumber from where the word comes and then as second number put the actual number of the word in the list.

so the upper example would mean that this is the second word of list number 12.
