Lists - adding omitted words

vivskrit   July 9th, 2013 6:18a.m.

Following on from my previous post about strange completion percentages in HSK lists, further inspection of my HSK3 progress reveals that two simple words - 张 and 中文 - have failed to add themselves although they appear quite early on in the list. Zhongwen says it's unavailable ! Is this normal (doctor) ? How can I make them both appear (by the usual adding process) in my HSK vocab review, please ?

Not sure why they were skipped the first time around, but if you hit "Change Study Settings" to set yourself back to the beginning of the list, Skritter should try to add through the list again from the beginning and will find those two missing words, after which it'll get you back to where you were toward the end of the list.

OK thanks - I'll try that.

Yes - good tip. That worked. It looked for the two missing words, produced them for me to learn and then zoomed back up to where I'd got to much later on in the list - this time with the correct completion percentage. Thanks !

Great! That system is so complicated that it's a relief when it works 100%--sometimes it takes a long time or miscalculates the progress percentage, but Scott has been continually improving it. Looks like it's getting there.
