Feature wish on iOS app

When you click on (i) to get more information about the word (xi2guan4 for example), you can click on each item in the gray box (xi or guan), let's click on guan -> you have now xin3 (heart) and guan4 (pierce).
It would be nice to have the ability to continue clicking on items ...

as a related item, using that example, I'd like to be able to see the mnemonics for xi and guan when you click on xiguan (i.e. character level mnemonics for words)

I'd love to have that feature also - basically being able to "drill down" into the composition of a character level by level.

I'd like to support this feature request of "lc3t35" as well, I have thought about the same idea myself many times already, but I was too lazy to actually put such a request into words. :) I think it would make a very useful new feature.

Some threads on why the decomposition drilldown is limited:

We are thinking of hooking up the web version's word details view for online use within the app, which will be a bit slow and not as pretty, but will let you ask the server to drill down as much as you like.

Makes sense re. downloads - I think the hook-up to web version is the best solution - I think web version of skritter works fine on iphone/ipod in landscape (apart from no flash, obviously) - with a "close page and return to skritter" button in safari after clicking through from the app, I think it would be perfect - function before pretty ;)

Another feature for ipad, can we get landscape mode? Many ipad cases can prop up on a 45° angle and it would be great to use skritter while doing this. Countless times I've sad on at a desk or on the couch and thought it would be very convenient. .

Can't do landscape mode, sorry. Because of the way we do the textures, it would be many hundreds of hours of work and require us to make the app download even bigger, which isn't worth it.
